Hawaiian Solar is proud to have installed 
HOT WATER SYSTEMS on the Big Island since 1977, totaling over 5000 systems.
In those early years, families and businesses that installed these systems were considered “pioneers.” Now (is the most popular solar system on the Big Island which is also known worldwide for its’ high performance, quality, and 10 year warranty. SYSTEMS are installed in over 120 countries worldwide since 1953.
Since those early years Hawaiian Solar has expanded into high quality Solar Pool Heating Systems, using Heliocol Pool Collectors for residential pools as well as commercial pools at the Mauna Lani Hotel, Sea Village Condos, and the Banyan Tree Condos, just to name a few.
Now we also sell and install Photovoltaic Electric Systems, both grid tie and battery systems. Our in-house installation staff includes Licensed Plumbing, Solar, and Electrical Contractors. All work is done by these licensed individuals.
Hawaiian Solar, Inc. is a solely owned corporation, owned by Kenneth Bloom, a 34 year resident of Kailua Kona, who holds a C-61 Solar Contractors License and a C-37 Plumbing Contractors License. In addition, Chris Dutton owner of All About Power, is our resident electrician who holds a C-13 Electrical Contractors License.
